Farmhouse Bakery - Farmington

I had visited this restaurant once before and really enjoyed it. Unfortunately, my recent experience was quite disappointing in terms of quality and taste. When I brought it up to my coworkers, they agreed and mentioned that there are new owners. Draw your own conclusions from that.

The donuts are absolutely delicious! I just wish they were a bit lighter or less dense. That way, I could enjoy more of the different flavors!

Be sure to arrive early— the earlier, the better! These donuts are incredible! They’re always fresh, light, and absolutely delicious!

I would really love to try these pastries! Everytime I go, it's always closed. I've tried early and mid morning. Since this place seems to be very popular, especially on Saturday mornings, you'd think they would be more prepared with more donuts to last all morning.

I arrived at about 6:45 am or so, and there was a nice variety. (My wife was there around 7:30 a couple of weeks ago, and the shelves were mostly bare! I picked up several different pastries, and there were all ok to good with one of them being very good. A couple tasted more like they 'd been cooked the day before. There was too little cream filling in the cream-filled and far too little jelly or fruit in those filled types. I was sadly disappointed in the results of my taste-testing, especially after I 'd gotten up and over there sooooooooo early in the am to try more of their different kinds. I 've actually had better pastries from the local Schnucks. I will continue to look for really good donuts in the Farmington area. Perhaps your experience will be better there, but I 'm doubting I 'll be back.
