I saw the review, about the persons of color being stared at. Then, I went in. I had to laugh! The clientele were very diverse, mainly Hispanic and white, with several black people. If this person was stared at, it was probably more due to behavior than race. That being said, the food was good, and the service was excellent. The Spanish omelet, with the green sauce, was very tasty, but prepare to be set on fire. If you can 't handle it hot, perhaps try the red sauce, instead.

We love coming to breakfast at Pete’s Café. It’s the best breakfast place around. Gives you old country home vibes. The food is delicious. Beatrice was our waitress, she was so lovely and accommodating. We had the veggie omelette and grits and over medium eggs with hash, brown and bacon. They bring you gigantic ice waters when you get here. They are known for their Pete’s hot sauce, it is delicious on the eggs!. They actually sell bottles of the Pete’s hot sauce. Overall, this is a wonderful place for breakfast. They also allow service animals. This place is always packed when we come.

If you are a person of color please do not spend your business with them from the start you will get a numerous amount of stares. The food has hair all in it and the hash brown sides we ordered for both me and my husband was burnt to the core also the chicken fried steak taste like whatever machinery it was cooked on ! Also your food will come rushed with a bill already odd for a cafe/diner would give 0 stars
