Magnolia At Sudbury House - Faringdon

We had a lovely Sunday lunch. The food and service were very good, and we had a wander in the lovely gardens afterwards

The food was prepared and presented very well and served by really friendly and efficient staff, particularly Charlie and Gemma. They went out of their way to ensure that our exact requirements were met. There was a varied menu to choose from.

Setting was modern, comfortable and not overly busy for a Sunday lunch. Food and service were amazing!

Service was a little slow. Otherwise happy with experience.

We enjoyed our visit to the Magnolia Brasserie. The only complaint is that the strawberry trifle was not up to the standard that I would have expected for a £7 dessert. It was obviously served straight out of the 'fridge and was extremely cold, with the result that it tasted bland and the true flavours were taken away by the coldness! It was not my idea of what a trifle should be. In addition, the warm bakewell tart, although very nice, was barely warm. However, the service was excellent and the surroundings very nice.
