Bidrage med feedbackI’ve been in the hospitality industry for 30 years, in my time I have traveled far and wide for both work and pleasure. I’ve worked along side 3 star Michelin chefs and some of the best throughout England, Australia, Asia and into China. Laura provided fantastic and friendly service at lunch today… however! The HOMEMADE Sticky toffee pudding I have just eaten is THE BEST STP I have ever eaten anywhere…anywhere! And I’ve owned restaurants that have in comparison failed woefully. Chef! That’s simply the best, keep up the great work and well done.
We had googled the best places for Sunday lunch and were certainly not disappointed. Lovely service, lots of beautifully cooked meat, huge Yorkshire puddings and the fluffiest roasties ever served with perfectly cooked vegetables and topped with luscious gravy.
Staff are super friendly. They sell fresh beer that tastes fresh and clean! Very rare nowadays. Toilets were clean, pub garden is huge. Locals are welcoming.
Lovely roast dinner today. Was perfect. Good food and service. Will be going again in the near future. Make sure you’re hungry as they aren’t shy with the portions
The food was very good. Although they had a couple of items unavailable (understandable at times). However, the customer service left a lot to be desired. We had to ask someone for another round of drinks. Also our dishes were collected after eating our mains, and we were left to our own devices. Nobody informed us that the kitchen was closing. So my husband was unable to indulge in his favourite pudding. Then the icing on the cake was management refusal to accept Scottish £20 notes (although they are legal tender) Again there was no prior warning given, hence only a 3.
