Bidrage med feedbackWent to this lovely cafe at HillHead for Christmas brunch and it was lovely. You get a 3 course brunch plus a cold drink and a hot beverage included in the very reasonable price. The staff in there work ever so hard and are always seem to go the extra mile to make your dining experience enjoyable. It's also dog friendly too for well behaved doggies. We've been there several times just for a coffee or a takeaway drink but this was our first time we've eaten there. I can't fault anything or anybody who works there in this lovely little cafe. Well done to all!
My wife and I first met at Breezes 8 years ago, and every year on our anniversary Nicky prepares a special meal for us. We have a designated table upstairs where we always feel pampered. This year, we enjoyed halibut on the bone with a variety of vegetables, followed by a delicious fruit dessert with white chocolate sauce. To end the meal, we had liqueur coffees. Our only disappointment is that we can't dine here every day for lunch. I will be celebrating my birthday here in a couple of weeks with 30 guests, and I am confident that the food will be just as amazing. Thank you, Nicky, for your exceptional hospitality and delicious food with fantastic sauces.
A long wait which was fine if the food was good. Ordered 2 x bacon toasted sandwiches and specialty asked for butter served with spread. Returned. Came back with butter still in wrapper and hard. The bacon now cold. Very disappointing.
I 've visited Breezes in the past and enjoyed the food. I decided to pop in after a long walk to pick up some cake to take away. I noticed on the chalkboard it said large slice for £3.75 so I was looking forward to a naughty treat when I got home. The cake was whole and when the server lifted my slice and put it in the box I couldn 't help but say 'that 's a large slice?? '! It was a disappointingly small slice, she simply said they were pre-cut to that size. I did feel shortchanged. The cake (banoffee pie) was very nice but it was gone before I knew it. Maybe change the chalkboard to a 'slice ' so people don 't get their hopes up!
Went for brunch today. Lots of empty tables. Waitress did not enquire about my visit, more interested with the clipboard rather than engaging. Very disappointed with service. Quite clearly flustered so I left without any concern by staff.
