Bidrage med feedbackOur second time to visit this restaurant. each time we are on a tour in this region. burger was the excellent, by far the best I had in Switzerland. we also had the grilled dry bark. superb! They never caught us. mushroom soup. foie gras was a joy. this resto knows how to serve very good food.
Here in the januar visited a group of 7 adults and 2 children, adults mostly went for the wonderfully presented dry bark meat at the entrance of the restaurant. fantastic aroma on the rib eye steak and well presented on the teller. the others had the locality of the perch meuniere, again top class. and the children had excellent pizza. the vully red wein was an enormous improvement, what they produced 20 years ago and would highly recommend it. a total of 5 stars for eating and service. in the future
We ate here above all because we were in the hotel, and we are so glad that we did it! my (local) fish and the burger of my man were delicious, and both were beautifully presented. because I'm celiac, I have to have gluten-free food, and our waiter. was very knowledgeable and helpful in guiding my choices. we also enjoyed the local wine and beer. if they are somewhere near, I recommend stopping for a meal!
I ordered a ribeye steak medium. It was delicious! Perfectly cooked and excellent taste. The french fries were very very good as well. Very nice atmosphere. Service was good. However, it took a long time to get my bill. Seems to be very typical here...in Switzerland. Also, the price was a little steep. 51 CHF for steak,fries,and few veggies.
If you go to avenches you must go to this restaurant. The meat is fantastic, The souce is perfect, They have some nice wins. The service (Joao and is polish frend, the waiter and waitress) is very frendly and professional. The price is fair for...the service and for the quality presented.
