The Burger Shop. - Falls Lake

In town visiting family, and we were looking for someplace different something local and GOOD. My brother suggested this place stating that they have amazing burgers. We walked in and I was instantly impressed with the quaint feel and the wonderful atmosphere. I ordered my cheeseburger with all the fixings, my wife got only mayonnaise and lettuce. The toppings were in PERFECT proportion to the burger... so much so, that even though I got so much stuff on mine, I lost virtually nothing and made no mess. The portion size of the fries is VERY generous, so we were able to share a large fry (and still have some leftover). This burger was all that it was hyped up to be. Delicious, juicy, perfect size. It appeared kind of small at first glance, but it was very filling. The fries were cooked to perfection and were seasoned extremely well hot and fresh! I opted for the orangeade, per recommendation, and my wife indulged with a vanilla shake. Both were also every bit as good as promised. This was an EXCELLENT experience at one of Wake Forest's greatest gems. Whether you are a local or just visiting, you absolutely MUST treat yourself to a meal here. Highly recommend.

This place is absolutely fantastic, reminds me of 5 guys based on the way they operate and allow unlimited toppings as well as the fries in a cup. Portions and quality for the price is unmatched. I love me a good burger and fries so this will definitely become a staple into my rotation. Just be patient with the staff as they work hard to get those orders out and they do get busy. Orangeade is also delicious on a hot day!!

Food was great as always but they were alittle on the slow side this time. But if you want a great burger, a delicious orangeade and be able to watch the scenery, this is the place to go.

Very tasty burgers! The French fries are also skinny and tasty. Perfect amount of salt on them too!
