Peking Gourmet Inn - Falls Church

Quite honestly had some of the worst customer service and wait staff when I came here. I ordered the basil chicken, which was a tomato based chicken dish that is neither Chinese or Thai, and it was a sweet tomato sauce unlike any other restaurant I have been to or heard about. I did not eat it, as the waiter never described what it was nor did the menu and I assumed it would be a normal basil chicken dish like any other Chinese/ Thai restaurant. I raised the concern to my waiter and the manager and they gave no response. No accommodation or sincerity. She just said sorry you didn’t like it and walked off. My friend got the beef and broccoli which was just ok, and for the price point the meal was unflavorful, overpriced, and overall a horrible experience.

The service from the time you walk in until you leave is phenomenal. We got standard dishes but will definitely come back for the famous Peking duck!

Awesome duck that is not oily or gamey. At $79, a little pricey, though. Great service by great staff!

This is the first time I've visited this restaurant in 30 years and the food is still delicious! ? Never judge a book by its cover! Go inside and you will be surprised! This place has a lot of history! While I didn't order the Duck. It is the absolute best! These pictures are what we had today!?

Too bad we believed the hype to make a special trip to check this place out. Big Mistake. Perhaps it was better when all the celebs-(photos all over the walls) ate there but this place is a total fail. Ridiculously expensive for the quality of food- which was incredibly tasteless. Service was so inattentive-good luck calling a waiter over-it took 20 minutes to get the check to get out of there. Waiters ignore you. Funny the food came out rather fast. Btw, fried rice was white rice with a couple of peas in it, not fried. Place is a joke.
