Open Road - Falls Church

Nice place to meet friends for lunch. Food was good. The 4 of us sat outside on the covered terrace area. It was a hot day but the fans kept us comfortable. Our server was great. She checked on us made sure we always had something to eat.

Food was good but the place was a little too loud for us.

I grabbed a quick lunch and noticed the place mainly served all white customers during my time dining, with ESPN on two TVs and Fox News on another. The hostess was friendly, and I chose a high-top table. The server quickly brought popcorn. I had a great Moscow Mule and ordered another. The French Onion burger with fries and salad was okay, nothing special. Background music was classic Top 100. I probably won't come back since I was just passing through, but others seemed to enjoy their meals. The music and Moscow Mule were the best parts of the experience. If you're looking for a restaurant that serves a variety of patrons you may want to pass.

Bartenders are great and pour very good cocktails. Food is pretty good to excellent the steak frites at the top end of the spectrum. The oft heralded popcorn is strangely provided to some but not others. Parking lot is insufficient, so the $10 valet charge is obnoxious (certainly at 6pm) when things are full with some (poorly) signed auxiliary lots close by with more capacity.
