Caribbean Plate - Falls Church

I had the worst Jamaican food ever at this restaurant! The establishment itself was fine, the customer service was decent, but the food was subpar. I ordered the oxtail with rice and peas and plantains. The oxtail was tender and flavorful but didn't meet my expectations. The rice and peas had a strange taste and odor, so I couldn't eat more than a couple of bites. The prices were also not as advertised. I wouldn't suggest this place, but you can try it at your own risk.

Pretty disappointed since I was really craving curry chicken for a while. First off, I don't think they have a working phone, I called multiple times one day trying to order takeout and never got ahold of someone. Food was way too salty and only reason I finished half of the food was because I was really hungry. I'm willing to give it another shot but definitely don't have high expectations. Maybe I just got a bad batch.

So never order off GrubHub cause they stuff you on the amount of food you get and it's over priced... great spot been to in person but terrible when it comes to delivery.
