Root Stem - Falls Church

I had the chance to try Root Stem’s catering at work and while they have a decent flavor pallet I wasn’t a fan?

Beautiful location, the cleanest location that I have seen in a while. Friendly and welcoming and an amazing place to be.

Root Stem did an amazing job catering my wedding with a brunch-themed buffet. The food was so good and we had a lot of guests tell us so. (My favourite item was the chicken and waffles. Craig was very responsive throughout the menu planning process. He was very accommodating for our meal requests, dietary needs, and our budget. We met with Craig and Michelle (their in-house coordinator for a tasting a few weeks before the wedding. Michelle helped us choose which linens to use and made sure to ask lots of questions about what we thought of the food and what kind of atmosphere we were going for at the reception. She took over coordinating with the venue, designed the floor plan for us, and took care of decorations and putting our centerpieces out during set up. (R S even provided some bonus decorations to supplement what we had! I was so happy with how everything turned out!

We 've worked with several caterers over the years for events in our home, but Root and Stem was by far the best. On very short R&S created a full birthday dinner for our daughter and a number of her friends that surpassed our expectations. Lexi dove into our Pretty in Pink event, jumped over logistical hurdles and supplied a gracious wait staff that produced a memorable meal applauded by demanding nineteen-year-olds. We highly recommend Root and Stem. JDJ

They were so professional and handled drop off of the food with the least contact possible. It was a pleasure to leave the cooking to them for our small dinner party.
