The Earl Of Zetland - Falkirk

I really enjoy visiting this restaurant, I have been here several times. The food is always delicious, although sometimes there can be a short wait for service, which is understandable during these times of COVID. They always have a nice selection of drinks, and I will definitely be returning.

I went in with my wife to have a meal and we got a steak pie each which was amazing. Food is to die for but lacking in service. 5 times I tried to order a drink and the young boy kept nodding and walking away I had to get up out my seat to get someone else to serve us which the young guy turned round and was very rude and told me to sit down and pointed to the seat like he was talking to a dog. No manners no customer service skills nothing. I was so embarrassed. We then asked for the bill for to wait another 25 mins and again for our bill as he forgot three times!! Will be back to try more of amazing food but will avoid if it's same guy serving again!!!

We waited over an hour for a menu, the steak pie was dry and the meat didn't taste right. The macaroni cheese was essentially just a bowl of pasta with cheese melted on top, and it was dry. To top it off, we were charged more than the actual price of our meal. Despite being one of the first three customers in the restaurant, everyone who came in after us was served before and quicker than us.

The staff just mucked about took ages for service meanwhile 3 staff are doddling about doing nothing they didn't even notice us sitting down. Didn't have kids menus at all. Was an absolute shambles

Stopped here for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. Service was great, the staff were very friendly and not overly intrusive. Made sure everything was good though. Food was decent and pretty much what you would expect from a pub type place. Would definitely come back, the menu was decent with a good variety.
