The fish batter is the best I have ever tasted and the owner is very friendly. The prices are very reasonable. The rest of the staff are also very welcoming. Although it is a small restaurant, we make the trip from Whitnurn just to have their freshly made fish supper, as opposed to reheated meals at other places. We will definitely be returning.

I always come to this restaurant for fish and chips. The food is consistently hot and fresh. There can sometimes be a bit of a wait, but that's because it's so popular and delicious, so I can't really complain. I have never had a bad meal here.

The food at this restaurant is always freshly cooked and of high quality. I particularly enjoyed the tasty fish supper and haggis.

Over cooked two very thin fish, which looked poor in the shop but in daylight very well done, unfortunately it was not a steak. At £7.40 for this, the person who fried this dosn't understand how to use a deep fat fryer. The owner is very amiable, but quality is very poor and expensive.
