Jade Wok - Fairview

I had a pleasant experience with takeout from this restaurant. I enjoyed a delicious dinner that cost me between $50 and $100. The food was quite good, earning a score of 4 out of 5, and the service was also rated 4 out of 5. The atmosphere was decent, but I would rate it a 3. I highly recommend trying the Sweet and Sour Chicken and the Sesame Chicken!

This review is long overdue. This restaurant used to offer excellent quality and value, but since the pandemic, they've significantly raised their prices while the quality has declined. Most of the food tastes remarkably similar, with all the sweet dishes having the same flavor profile, making them bland overall. If you ask for extra spice, don’t bother—there doesn’t seem to be any actual chilies in their so-called “spicy” menu items. It's become tedious and a waste of money. I’d love to support a business that genuinely cares for its community, but it seems like the owners have lost their vision. Tonight was the last straw for me. I ordered dinner-sized items but received lunch portions, with the entrée and rice packed in the same container. I’ve been wasting my money here for far too long, but it’s now clear that Jade Wok Fairview has reduced itself to shortchanging its customers. It’s disappointing.

Overall, I give the food, service, and atmosphere a perfect rating of 5 out of 5. Additionally, there's plenty of parking available, and it's free, which is a big plus. Highly recommend!
