After transplanting to middle TN five years ago and landing smack in the country I was immediately deprived of some luxuries I had definitely taken for granted in my 15years in Cali.... Like having a fucking nearby coffee shop. No folks, not a Dunkin'. A coffee shop. A, café. A place where they knew I'd walk in and want a dairy alternative and an extra dry cappuccino, just by looking at me... *jk And for a glistening moment Fairview of all places had a café... But it was so much more than that. The owners/amazing people, created by being themselves a hub of warmth sometimes for serenity sometimes to glean the warmth and sometimes to dig in with family and get a little louder- And they had live music... I mean, come on. And then they started selling homeopathic medicines and CBD medications and creams and I was just even more grateful #enlightenedcompany That place came along and was a blessing not just when I was there but just as something that existed near where I live for a while.
It's a really cool place for Fairview, remodeled from the old feed store. Get the blueberry muffins, if they're not sold out. My only complaint is you never know when they'll be open or closed. They don't seem to keep consistent set hours.
Quaint coffeehouse just west of Nashville in Fairview Tn. My daughter loves the breakfast muffins and cinnamon rolls. My favorite is the fresh sausage, egg and cheese biscuit. They also have an excellent lunch menu. There's live music on Saturday mornings and on some Saturday nights with a dinner menu that features crafts beers and wine. Did I mention their coffee is the best in Nashville (in my humble opinion). We absolutely love this place.
FDC has a great vibe, music, good food, and the best coffee I've ever had!
A really great spot in Fairview. The exterior blends in with the outskirts of Fairview but the inside has a rustic but modern vibe. Coffee was great and served in a mason jar. Plenty of tables to get work done, a few board games to share and play, and comfy seating for conversation or reading. Whether you're in town visiting or a local, a must see coffee shop.
