We always make a point to visit B&B whenever we're in town. Today, I tried the fried grit cakes with shrimp and tomato gravy for the first time. Although the server accidentally made the presentation a bit messy by mishandling the hot bowl, I was already planning my return trip by the third bite. My culinary goal is to explore all variations of shrimp and grits, and this dish stands out as my favorite. The tomato gravy was rich and complex, and the grit cakes were perfectly fried. The shrimp was fresh and flavorful, but it took a backseat to the amazing combination of the other ingredients.

I had the special of the day, which was Connecuh sausage mac and cheese. It was packed with flavor in every bite! I really hope they add this to the permanent menu. I will definitely be back!

The deep-fried ribs were an intriguing starter; they were tender and meaty with a crispy coating, but they could have used more seasoning. The accompanying sweet and spicy dipping sauce helped enhance the flavor. The chicken sandwich was quite large and came with plenty of condiments, but unfortunately, the chicken patty was very dry and overcooked, lacking any discernible chicken flavor. We wouldn’t order it again. On the bright side, the fries served with the sandwich were excellent. As for the asparagus soup, it came with a side of tender asparagus spears, which were very enjoyable. However, the soup itself was overly salty; a smaller portion would have sufficed. Overall, our experience was somewhat disappointing. While the service was good and the atmosphere was nice, the food did not live up to the high praise we had read in other reviews. We might consider returning in the future, but we would likely stick to just ordering a burger and fries.

Such a pleasant surprise! The family wanted to go somewhere casual with TVs so we could watch March Madness. I found this restaurant under sports bars. I must admit, my expectations were kind of low for the food. Our waitress was precious and so attentive. I had one of their signature cocktails, and it was perfect. We all ordered burgers, except one of us had the Conecuh sausage mac and cheese! All of the food was really good. Burgers were cooked as ordered with all the right additions. Just exactly what we were looking for!!!

Poppyseed bacon aioli, cool cut fries, yummy mac& cheese w/sausage, sandwiches were amazing. Great beer prices, wonderful service and atmosphere
