Bidrage med feedbackCompliments to the chef because it was really, like really good. Gotta be Italian to be cooking that good in an Italian restaurant. We had the rigatoni al la vodka and the chicken piccata. Fresh bread too with the oil ??. Yum!! Will be back for sure !!
My wife and I have been going here for dinner on Friday nights for the last few months. This place is an absolute GEM. I regularly leave here saying That was the best meal I have ever had! . From the amazing pasta dishes to the prime rib on Saturdays, to the awesome staff. We love Luna Azzurra. I don 't use the work perfect very often, but I hope they never change a thing.
The first visit over the winter was phenomenal. Sat at the bar and the food was incredible. The second visit was early spring with friends as we raved about it. Service was not on par and the food was ok. It actually wasn’t busy yet the waitress seemed to “ hide” whenever we needed her. I’m on the fence about this place. Concerning that it wasn’t consistent.
Went for Dinner with friends, the appetizer’s and entrees were delicious!! We had the mussels in the white sauce, and steak tips, with the delicious bread they put out for the table with the garlic oil!! ? I ordered the scallops as my entree and they were cooked perfectly, tender and sweet, risotto creamy but not heavy crunchy but not burnt or over cooked, perfect! So good! Asparagus also good! My friends loved their meals too, shrimp, steak, chicken! Everything was tasty. Dessert, I wouldn’t get the tiramisu or the Chocolate Gelato again. Just wasn’t up to my standards. But all in 8 out of 10
The food was absolutely amazing! However, our experience was marred by poor service from our waiter. There was an unusual situation in the kitchen, and they were clearly short-staffed, resulting in a 45-minute wait for our food. If our waiter had taken a moment to explain the situation and perhaps offered some bread or a drink in the meantime, it would have made the wait more bearable. Instead, he completely ignored us. It wasn't until we had finished our meal and paid that the owner came over to inform us about the kitchen issues and offered us ice cream, which we declined since we had already waited long enough. I understand that things can go wrong, but the way our waiter handled the situation was disappointing. This experience will definitely affect my decision to dine there again… unless I can ensure a different waiter next time.
