John's Butcher Block - Fairfield

John is an excellent person, and he employs a fantastic team to help manage the restaurant. If you’re looking for the best deli sandwich in Fairfield, IL, this is the place to be. Their sour cream and cheddar macaroni salad is exceptionally good. According to my grandma, the Cajun turkey will "make your eye-teeth slap your gums." My friends and I used to visit here for lunch every week, but now I make it a point to stop by whenever I'm in town to support local businesses. Good old Johnny B's!

As someone who's just moved to town, I was grateful when a friend suggested this restaurant. I spent only $1.39 for two boneless pork chops, and I’m glad I decided to buy eight! These pork chops are truly the best I’ve ever had. I’d like to think my skills as a cook contributed to the experience, but in reality, no matter how good you are in the kitchen, it’s impossible to elevate poor-quality meat. This meat was simply exceptional.

I recently attended a networking event hosted by the local Chamber of Commerce, where I tried the most delicious cheese spread. It turned out to be from John's Butcher Block, conveniently located right across the street. I couldn't resist and quickly went over to purchase a small dish to take home and share with my family. I highly recommend it!
