Bidrage med feedbackWe had given up on our old hot pot place and needed something new. A friend recommended California Shabu Shabu and so glad we listened. The service is great really friendly and helpful. The food is even better. Between the main protein and the broth, definitely filling (although the shrimp aren't worth the effort so I'd skip them and stick with the other proteins). We've been twice in one week and we'll be back many, many more times.Dietary restrictions: I'm allergic to mushrooms and our friend has a gluten issue; they had no problem substituting
Great place friendly service! The staff are super friendly. The food was good. Great place to hang out with friends on the weekends as there is a bar inside the restaurant. Highly recommended and we will definitely comeback again.Parking: Plenty of parking spaces
Had a very nice experience with three other friends. We order three bún đậu mắm tôm, two softshell crabs, two grilled yellowtail collars, and two spicy margaritas. Overall the food were all very tasty, especially the bún đậu mắm tôm, very authentic as I have had it many times before in Vietnam. The most impressive was the mouthwash in the bathroom! That was very thoughtful of them! However, the price is quite high for me personally, and the service wasn’t too good. The waitress forgot that we ordered water with no ice and she forgot to take our credit card back so we had to wait for a while until I finally had to remind her. So I personally would not come back but if you like bún đậu mắm tôm and don’t know how to make it at home then definitely check this place out.
Good choice of hot pot dishes to Vietnamese cuisine to sushi. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Repeat customer.Food: 5/5
This is a traditional Japanese style shabu-shabu hot pot place with high quality meat hidden inside of a local strip mall in fairfax. please don't compare this to Korean or Chinese All you can eat hot pot as it's a different category. From the ponzu and sesame dipping sauce it immediately reminded me of Shabu-Shaba restaurants from Japan town in San Francisco. (Not sure if that's where the inspiration came from for their name of the restaurant itself. As soon as I sat down
