Mayan Palace - Fairbanks

Stick with the basics and have a draft beer. I stick with the al la carte tacos (they 're all good , the queso dip, the Azteca burrito, or the Azteca GRANDE burrito to-go (when I want an inexpensive 6 or so small meals and have never been disappointed. Recently I took a friend and she ordered the lengua dinner. I had to buy her meal because I tried it and it was so delicious that I ate about a quarter of her meal which was pretty rude but I couldn 't help myself! Their draft beer is also top notch, with outstanding Mexican beer and American craft beer on tap. The system is clearly well maintained. (One of the distributors in town regularly stops in for a pint and that speaks volumes to me. Drinks in general are somewhat expensive but keep in mind they essentially come with really good bottomless chips and salsa. I think the margarita recipe has changed sometime in the last few years, for the worse in my opinion, but if I ask the waitress that knows me (Anna to make me a margarita 'the way she knows I like it ' then it 's by far my favorite margarita in town.

We Love this place! Best margaritas in town by far. (owners wife has cornered the market on her mix) Guacamole is homemade and is excellent.

I love this place, good food for a good price. Service is good, though it is a casual restaurant. The bar is nice but all I ever get is beer. The Mexican sandwich is the bomb.

Good food and margaritas! My friends and I always get good food and service here. The taco azteca burrito is bigger here then in the more casual side. But the food is several dollars more per items for sit down service and alcohol. The plains rocks margarita was good and the blended strawberry margaritas were excellent. Very strong fruit flavor and not weak on the tequila! I always get chicken dishes. The one time I asked for my burrito 'wet ' (with red enchilada sauce) it came with a tiny spoonful. Cheerful staff!

A solid Fairbanks Mexican food B . Some authenticity and some canned vegetables. Adequate margaritas. Food flavor was okay. Service was good by Fairbanks standards.
