Bidrage med feedbackWe visited the family restaurant to the breakfast for lunch. the restaurant was clean and they decorate for christmas we were greeted and sitting immediately. the menu has many possibilities. our waitress was very fast and friendly. the food comes fast and to the greatest part looked great from the only reason for 4 stars is that the hashbrowns were burned and not much they very thin and sausage gravur on the cookies and gravy there was no sausage friendly sad. overall a good experience and we will definitely visit again soon. tho with some small improvements this could be an absolutely fantastic place.
Good menu with a wide selection. Portions are huge and the food is delicious. Our waitress was great but I didn’t catch her name to acknowledge her here.
We had a fantastic breakfast in our hometown! My companion was particularly taken with his lamb steak, expressing multiple times how delicious it was, especially the large cut! Some places here in Fairbanks add unusual ingredients to their lamb gravy, which can taste odd, but this was definitely good gravy. The pancakes were amazing too! We will definitely be back, and this will be a place where we bring our guests. The staff was attentive, ensuring our drinks were never low, and they were very friendly, offering great service all around!
The service was excellent, and the food was fantastic—truly comfort food at its finest. The only reason I rated it 4 out of 5 stars was that it was uncomfortably hot inside. The wall next to me was sticky with moisture, which was a bit unpleasant. I understand it's Alaska and summer, likely one of the hottest days of the year, but I think they could benefit from air conditioning for their summer tourists. My stepson raved about the best breakfast sandwich he's ever had, but I found it hard to enjoy because of the heat and humidity!
I received a very warm welcome from the staff. The decor was understated yet inviting, and it was wonderful to see everyone smiling. My waitress, Emiral, was friendly and incredibly helpful when it came to selecting from the menu. I ordered the Hometown Grand Slam with a side of French toast. Both dishes were perfectly flavored and expertly cooked—neither was overcooked or undercooked. The portion sizes were generous and reasonably priced. I highly recommend visiting the Hometown Restaurant here in Fairbanks.
