Hometown - Fairbanks

I had never been here, so was pleasantly surprised to see that the 80s live and are good in fairbanks. we ordered both the biscuits and gravy combo, and it was ahmazing! comfortable stalls, great service, strong coffee, cool 80’s alaska decor and tasty to the beak. I'm back in a heartbeat.

Old and dated interior but the service, staff, and food was excellent! Hometown breakfast skillet and country fried steak with a side order of pancakes.

The food we had was very good. I had the French Combo. The quantity was more than I expected and I could only eat half. My husband had a hamburger, which he said was delicious. And my daughter had a house salad and the fried pickles, which she said was excellent. The service was good, but could have been a little better. The waitress didn't come to the table as often as we needed. But, she was friendly and accurate and we did get all we needed in the end.

Good food, good service. Had the scrambled breakfast (I forgot the name) and it hit the spot. Would definitely go back

The service was great. Food was great. Comfort food at its finest. The only reason I gave 4 out of 5 stars is because it was uncomfortably hot in there... So much so that the wall I sat next to was sticky with humidity. Go figure! It's Alaska! But it was summer and one of the hottest days of the year. They probably don't need air conditioning 10 months out of the year, but it would be sooo worth it for their summer tourists. My step son actually said, this would have been the best breakfast sandwich I've ever eaten but I can't enjoy it because it's hard to breathe in here!
