Friar Tuck's Hoagie House - Fairbanks

The French onion soup was delicious and packed with flavor. The cheese fries were a bit on the salty side, but the queso was tasty. The Tuck Roll was incredibly flavorful—I wanted to order another one! Overall, it was a great experience.

I stopped by for lunch, and the person ahead of me was asked whether he wanted to sit inside or outside. When I walked in, the staff member said yes, so I responded, "Here."

Tuck's Roll (5 stars): This was absolutely amazing! I highly recommend it. The flavors were incredible. Fried avocado slices (3 stars): I expected them to be crispy, but they were just okay.

I suppose we won’t be returning to Friar Tuck's anytime soon—unless they train their kitchen staff to prepare a basic salad! I ordered a Chef salad, but what I received was a clamshell packed with lettuce, a few torn pieces of meat, no boiled egg, just 4 or 5 slices of tomato, and a couple of strips of cheese.

They always forget to add the serrano peppers in the tacos. Most of the time, it's just meat and cheese. It's still tasty, but please, can we have the peppers added?
