Perfect Pita - Fair Lawn

I ordered a couple of pita sandwiches on grubhub and it was horrid. I'm not sure if they simply do not know how to package a sandwich for delivery (I would have had to assemble my own from the included ingredients which is nuts with a pita). perhaps dining in this restaurant is a wonderful experience. But the meat tasted unappetizing to me and didn't seem to be grilled? I wound up throwing out the whole thing and ordering a second lunch. from somewhere else. My advice- avoid.

I met my sister and great nephew here for lunch. We had two shawarma in pita, and one falafel in pita. All items were tasty and we had Israeli salad with the meal. It?s been many years since I last had shawarma and I was impressed by how tasty and moist the meat was. The website shows a dining room, but only a counter is in the store. We were able to sit next to each other, so it wasn?t a problem. The photo was taken on the way out, after many customers had the shawarma.

This restaurant is fantastic! Without a doubt, it serves some of the best food I've ever tasted. As a professional chef who is quite discerning, I can honestly say I’ve never had a dish here that I didn’t enjoy. The staff is delightful and friendly. Although I no longer live in New Jersey, my husband and I always make it a priority to stop by for their chicken shawarma whenever we're in town. My sister even held her bridal shower here before they had to close the extra room due to COVID, and everyone was raving about the food. I absolutely love this place!

The highlight of my meal was definitely the shawarma. I also enjoyed the flavorful eggplant and beef cigars, while the hummus and falafel were decent.

When I arrived, I parked on the street and walked in. I mentioned to one of the staff that I was there to pick up an order. The man who took my order then came over to ring me up at the price he had quoted, and he expressed his gratitude. After leaving, I delivered the meal and then enjoyed my own. I ordered the falafel platter, which was both delicious and satisfying. Overall, it was a positive experience.
