If you are going to Arendal, this is the place to visit to experience the essence of southern Norway. Beautiful place for Just walking between the old houses, swimming on the beach or enjoying a pint at the café. There is also a museum with I would recommend if you want to learn about the local history.

This is the place to get pizza in and around arendal! it is worth the journey by itself. you can also swim, sunbathing or just walk around the beautiful merdø island

This place serves very good pizza from scratches and have their own beer that they can only come here. for me this was a good reason to visit and eat here. I was very satisfied with the quality of pizza and the mærdø ipa was very nice and a perfect game for eating. they also served paella on the day of my visit. I didn't have the chance to try it, but visually it looked very nice. I hope to try next time. I recommend this place to travel during the visit of the Norwegian south coast!

Beautiful beach, children love krotten and fishing. the second time we were, fantastic little island with amazing landscape.
