Polo Della Ceramica - FAENZA

The restaurant is located at the end of the hotel building and has about 40 tables. The menu is quite extensive ranging from pizza made in the restaurant to full range of normal Italian dishes. We had bruschetta as a starter which had mozzarella cheese and basil, very good and quite substantial. My partner had ravioli and I had spaghetti both were very good. I followed with grilled sausage which was nice and spicy. The lemon ice/water sorbet was really good. We had a frizzant White House wine which was first class. The cost was 44 euros which was quite reasonable for the area and what we had. If you were to share a pizza and wine the bill would be less than 20e. A nice restaurant with pleasant staff and a menu in English

First time here. On entering the restaurant boy it was busy, we asked for a table and the manager found us one but we had to be finished by 8.45pm which suited us fine. We were given the menu plus one which is in English which was so so helpful. The whole ordering of food drinks was very easy. Our food was served in a descent time and as you can see from my photo's it looked great and i can confirm it tasted amazing. The mixed grill was enormous! All our food was cooked perfectly. We left the restaurant feeling very full and very satisfied with the whole experience. Looking very much to eating here again on our next visit to Faenza

We stayed at the Ceramica hotel and decided to eat in the restaurant that is just downstairs. This is a really popular restaurant specialising in pizzas and they had a man singing and playing a keyboard (so loud we had to shout to hear ourselved). The reason I gave this restaurant three stars is because we were continually ignored by all the waiters whilst Italian speaking customers that arrived after us got their food served before they had even taken our orders. When they did attend us it was in an unfriendly way, A bit shabby chaps. Back to the food, the pizza that my husband had was good and the pasta I had was ok and the caraffe of wine was good too. The best thing about it all was the price which came to E26 for two mains and a one litre carafe of wine. Would I return, probably not because I wouldn't stay in the hotel again either.
