Todo Krog Ab - Faaroe

TL;DR DISAPPOINTING Overpriced dinner menu, long wait times, disappointing food, fancy atmosphere did not translate into quality of service or products served. My sister and I decided to go to Todo after seeing some delicious looking pizza, which turned out to only be served during lunch and not dinner. We came with very little expectations and left with a lot of disappointment after being charged 700 SEK for less than mediocre food that wasn’t very well balanced and staff that for some part seemed to be more concerned about their looks than serving customers. Also I would like to mention that both of us have more than 10 years of experience working in a variety of hospitality settings and service industry. We really didn 't expect much, but saw people around us sit down, wait and eventually leave because of not being served or even noticed, or in the case of the table next to us, in a hurry to get out of there once they actually got service and food. When we arrived we asked to be seated outside, which we were told wasn’t possible since they were fully booked and ‘very busy’ which kept being the answer to a lot of questions by multiple tables around us, while that would be entirely legit and understandable, we saw staff standing around, not really doing anything in the entire restaurant. the outside area was next to empty when we arrived, dined and left. and it was not an issue of being understaffed as clearly one waiter had plenty of time concerning themselves with their looks, repeatedly fluffing around with their hair, completely ignoring food safety) The server we had, was very nice and polite once the service actually came. The menu is designed tapas style, with every dish being from a different cuisine. We had Italian Burrata, which was served without bread, 3 grapes and 2 cut up cherry tomatoes. Indian cauliflower Masala, which was by far the best out of all of them, but still not worth the price. A Vietnamese Bao, covered in wasabi mayonnaise and drowned in sauce beyond recognition of what was even inside the Bao And Mexican tacos, which didn 't have much to them and really didn 't have a lot of flavour beyond mayonnaise and fried courgette. There were so many things that could have been done better, and we felt it an absolute waste of money for what we got out of what was supposed to be a nice dinner. The bottom line is, that the setting and menu, felt unorganised and almost randomly thrown together, the quality of the food was very far from what you’d expect of a restaurant clearly quite concerned with their image and posing as a ‘casual’ fine dinning experience and staff that seemed for for a part to be there, more because of them fitting into an image they are trying to portray, than their actual waitressing skills.

It’s an alright restaurant but expensive and value for money isn’t the greatest. Everything here is somewhat expensive, but you can have a better meal for the same price elsewhere. The club sandwich is disappointing, served with cold everything, no mayo or sauce and cold sambal oelek drenched chicken. Fries are on the soggy side but well seasoned. Pizza looks alright but the margarita we ordered was packed with semolina flour, with very short proofed, dense dough (cooked good though). There’s no salt in the dough, but the crusts are seasoned. Pictures here look better than we one we were served, which in comparison looked like a frozen pizza. The pizzaguy told me that many of the full-time bakers had quit for this summer, which may explain this. Salads looked amazing but they are expensive as well. Decent spot but nothing to write home about.

Amazing place. I tried it for the first time today with my boyfriend they have super delicious Hamburgers and pizza. They have super friendly straff with creat an amazinf experience

Today my family tried the TODO for the first time, we were very impressed with the pizza and hamburger here! They are amazing and I have to agree on that these are the best I’ve tasted.

Todo Krog Restaurant is located near the pool, with easy access to the beach/sea. Fårö Sundersand Restaurant on Fårö Gotland outside of Stockholm/Nynäshamn in Sweden offers a great atmosphere, delicious food, refreshing drinks, and excellent service. Enjoy BBQ outdoors in the sun while listening to live music.
