The Twisted Oak - Exeter

I recently booked this place for my mother's wake up last year and the baby shower of my daughter. It is a beautiful place, the conservatory is absolutely stunning, decorated with colorful flowers and fairy lights. I asked a buffet for both occasions and the food was nice. The cake selection was really nice and went well with the guests. The staff was brilliant and could not do enough for us. Very recommended

Popped in on a Sunday for lunch and we’ve already decided to go back soon! Such a lovely pub with a lovely atmosphere. Decorated really nicely for Christmas and the carvery was delicious!

A lovely pub with peaceful gardens and great food. Our steaks we're perfectly cooked and the deserts were the perfect end to a great meal. Highly recommend. We did have a slight confusion as the staff member we spoke with when we arrived said we couldn't go in or through the dining area because of the dog-we pointed out she was an assistance dog and the lady still kept saying we couldn't. I was tired as was mud way on a long journey and we'd wanted to sit in the garden anyhow so didn't press the point but perhaps a little staff training on Assistance Dog Law (The Equalities Act and Assistance dogs-a guide for business) should this come up in the future. All other staff encounters were great and we'd definitely be back if in the area again.

We came back from jacks patch garden centre feeling hungry so decided to give a try as haven't been for long time we both had the fish and chips they were delicious will go back again lovely lady serving and friendly it was just enough for us old timers
