A little bit of everything for everyone. If you were to ask me how to describe Tiano 's I wouldn 't know what to say. They have local favorites, Filipino food, burgers, pasta, prime rib. How would you describe It? Lol. I 've had Tiano 's a couple different times but I 've yet to try the prime rib that everyone raves about. Maybe I am ordering the wrong things here but we haven 't had the best luck with the food which kinda turns me off from returning. From the pasta to the burger steak, and the sisig they were all edible but not satisfying. More like eat It because we already spent the money on It. I haven 't seen It busy anytime I 've been, so I don 't understand why my food is always lukewarm. The pasta sauce taste like It comes out of a jar. The sisig is like mush, honestly it 's only saving grace for the 2 stars is that the fried bangus was good. But I mean can you really mess up fried fish? Anyways on a positive note the bangus was fried perfectly, nice and crispy. I just think its kinda pricey, of course I could have made It at home myself. But sometimes I don 't want my neighbors to hate me for frying fish outside lol. I don 't have that much more to say, I wish I had a better but the food/experience is just meh.
Dad's choice, prime rib and garlic shrimp...mom had garlic shrimp pasta. The servings were huge, so we took it home and split the food between the 3 of us. For take out meals, it was still cost efficient and you got your money's worth. The service was quick and the food portions generous.
I've been hearing of this place and it was on our list to venture too. We were greeted with great service. The menu looked very good but we knew what we were going there for. Steak and shrimp was onolicious!! And of course we had to have dessert. Lumpia with Ube ice cream We will be back but maybe to a closer location...
Unfortunately, the prime rib French dip was disappointing; the meat was sliced too thin and had a lot of fat, with more onions than actual meat. The au jus was greasy and heavy on fat as well. The half rack of ribs was tough, which suggested they might not have been parboiled, although the guava sauce that came with it was quite tasty. The garlic potatoes lacked any real garlic flavor, and the pork guisantes was oily and had carrots, which my husband didn't enjoy. On a positive note, my grandson rated the hamburger steak an 8 out of 10. The total bill was $83, and while I appreciated some of the dishes, I don't think I will be returning for a second visit.
