Tua Madre - Évora

Amazing food with an extremely poor service. The waiter seemed like he was afraid of speaking, we could barely hear him, he would serve everything without taking ten seconds to explain what the dishes are. And have in mind we're not talking about simple food, most dishes are very elaborate. So even knowing it was our first time dude wouldn't give a damn. You order a basket of bread and even though this restaurant is expensive AF dude would grab the olive oil bottle and drip just a little bit on a plate so you can use it, and the funny part is that it's a very low quality oil, you guys are in Portugal for God sake. Avoid this unless you really want to waste your cash.

Having exhausted our enthusiasm for typical Alentejano food, we fell upon Tua Madre as if we'd an oasis in a desert. We had a delightful dinner outside in the early spring dusk. Our server, a charming Brazilian whose name I have forgotten, was fantastic. We chose a burrata with beetroot, a ceviche with radish and lemon rind, a lamb ragu pasta, and a pork and roasted cabbage. Prices are high, but only the pork (where the portion was really miniscule and mostly fat) was something of a disappointment. But, all in all, a very enjoyable and delicious meal. Wines by recommendation of the server were lovely too.

Não é apenas o melhor no nível de Évora, mas dos melhores restaurantes portugal que não tenho dúvida em dizer isso) a cozinha francesco é divina, cada garfada é uma explosão de sabores. Eu vou, eu volto, e vejo novamente e não me canso de um menu variado, e sempre com uma nova surpresa. A memória de cada prato é gravado mto tempoa mariza receber todos os clientes com um sorriso encantador. Quem não sabe é obrigatório saber.
