Bertucci's Marlton - Evesham Township

Service was really not that good. Hostess, who sat at our table, had to check us and after the knowledge that no one took care of us, went to find a server. After the order we had to ask three different people whether we would get the roles Bertucci is famous for. The food was as expected.

We had a voucher. No bad pizza cake, very thin, what we like. I felt bad it was so empty. I love sitting with your family and enjoying a pizza.

This place is staggeringly bad. Brought my family for dinner including three younger kids (3,5, 8) They were hungry when we got there. The place was only half full, so they were not busy... From the time we were seated until we were served beverages and a basket of rolls was literally 30 minutes. I was also told the beer I ordered was out of stock, which is no big deal, but it sucks when it's news you hear 15 minutes after ordering it. (After waiting 15 minutes TO order it) When I ordered another beer (Dogfish 60 minute IPA) , I was quickly brought a totally different beer (Dogfish 90 minute IPA) which was darker, had 50% higher ABV, and wasn't even on the menu. When I politely asked for something else, our waitress bizarrely defended the beer that wasn't on the menu and explained that it was one of their most popular beers... OK, but so what? The pizza for my kids was very burnt and dry the top was totally brown. It's a brick oven pizza, so some blackening and brown bubbles are expected, but this was different. It was totally overcooked. I didn't complain or send it back, but none of my kids would eat it. In a decent restaurant, the expediter wouldn't have sent this pizza to a table. At some point a manager even stopped by and asked how everything was... There was clearly an untouched overcooked pizza on the table which we were all too tired to bother dealing with, so he smiled and said ok great when we said everything was fine. We did ask for more rolls since that's all my kids would eat they didn't come until 25 30 minutes later (After multiple requests) when we were getting the check and leaving. One waiter for another table literally dropped dishes on the way to serve on three separate occasions during the 90 minutes or so we were there. I've been a waiter and dropped food it totally happens. But three times in under two hours... Clearly not the A team. They were out of ice cream and forgot 1/2 of an item we ordered to go... Negative 5 stars.

Son was home from college on spring break and we wanted pizza and Italian food

I usually go to independent pizza places, but there's very few that serve alcohol, so decided to give Bertucci's a try. Their pizza is very good despite being a chain restaurant. My friends both has pasta entrees and they enjoyed both of them. Cocktails were fairly priced. My Blue Hawaiian had very little alcohol, but my friends' drinks were much better. I switched to beer and it was nice and cold. Waitress was not overly pleasant, but she was efficient. She was not wearing a mask, which doesn't bother me, but it may be an issue for some. The decor is simple and has a better bar area than I was expecting. If you're looking for legit pizza along with drinks and beer, this is a good option.
