Unidad A Latin Kitchen - Evergreen Park

I visited this restaurant for the first time in July 2023 and dined in. The food was absolutely delicious! I had the shrimp tacos, accompanied by beans and rice, while one guest enjoyed the oxtail tacos and another opted for the steak tacos. We all ordered appetizers and non-alcoholic drinks, and everything was satisfying—no complaints at all! The service was attentive and friendly. One of the owners even stopped by our table to introduce himself, welcome us, and gather our feedback on the food. He provided one of my guests with a card for her next visit, encouraging her to return since it was her second time dining here. We will definitely be back to eat here again!

The drinks were fantastic, and the food was pretty good overall. The “Unidad Burger” was average, while the “Venezuelan Arepas con Platanos” were satisfactory. The staff was friendly, and the ambiance is lovely, although the main dining area had a bit of an odor. I would consider coming back for drinks on the patio, and I’d like to try their tacos next time. Food rating: 4/5.
