Rare Steakhouse - Everett

Last weekend, my family and I visited while staying at Encore. We waited until 9:30 when I called at 7 p.m. and asked if they had a table for five people. They said they didn't till 9:30 solely because they were expecting huge groups, which I perfectly understood. We ordered meals as soon as we were seated, which was around 9:45 p.m. Our server Will was hands down the worst possible server you can get! He never attended the table. He disappeared after taking our order and never once returned back to the table. We received our food at 11PM! AN HOUR AND 30 MINS LATER. WHICH IS UNBELIEVABLE! AND THE PERFECT EXAMPLE OF HORRIBLE SERVICE!The food was awful, and the scallops appeared to have not been well washed well because they were sandy. Seafood linguine had no seasonings and had no taste whatsoever. Everything else we ordered was tasteless. Will later showed up in the middle of us eating with our check even though we weren’t finished and we had planned on ordering the desert but he said the kitchen was closed but that was only because of their own negligence of bringing the food out after an hour and 30 mins later! NOT RECOMMENDED! HORRIBLE SERVICE! THEY TRY THEIR LEVEL BEST TO DISRESPECT YOU

I had the dry aged New York strip, but in my personal opinion the dry aged flavor I was looking for was non existent. I’ve had dry aged steak countless times and it’s truly a life changing experience but I just couldn’t detect that flavor I was so eager to have. Was really looking forward to this place but was a bit of a let down. Will admit the service was impeccable, my waiter kept my drink filled the entire time and was pleasant to speak to. The rare fries tasted like an upgraded version of the nacho fries at Taco Bell. Very good! I will try again to have that Dry Aged domestic Wagyu and see if that makes any difference.

This is an outstanding upscale restaurant. The service is extraordinary, making it an ideal spot for celebrating birthdays, anniversaries, or any special occasion. I highly recommend Rare Steakhouse.

I made a reservation through OpenTable, and they confirmed it via text the day before. However, when I arrived at Encore, I discovered that the restaurant was closed. It turns out they are only open two days a week.

Last night we dined at Rare in celebration of my significant others birthday. We had Will as our waiter, he was absolutely wonderful. Will is informative, efficient, and friendly. You couldn’t ask for a better waiter. The food, presentation, and atmosphere were all on point down to minute details. We had a wonderful and memorable evening at Rare.
