Red Hot Chilli Pepper - Evanston

We had a great time with 4 people at this restaurant. The cuisine was a fusion of Chinese flavors, different from the usual dishes which was a refreshing change. We enjoyed everything we ordered, especially the lamb and various delicious vegetarian options. The service was good and we were pleasantly surprised to not have to wait when we arrived at 5:30 on a Saturday.

The food was delicious and we would definitely return! We really enjoyed the HK Cakes appetizer, and the kids loved the fried rice and hakka noodles. I am giving 4 stars because some of the sizzling main dishes like Kalcutta Chicken and the mixed Veg were too salty and saucy for our liking. It would be improved with less salt and a little more spice.

The food was tasty but a little too spicy. We ordered 2 appetizers and 3 entrees for a party of 3 and found the prices to be high. We have had better Chinese food for a much lower cost.

Love the food service was very good! The hakka noodle is amazing and they brought us a complementary dessert which was so tasty!

Very tasty with many vegetarian options. The dry cauliflower was delicious!
