Old Neighborhood Grill - Evanston

This is the most amazing place! I had my bachelorette party here and it was really fantastic. The owner is truly an amazing and nice person!!! The staff is really great and friendly! My glass was never empty and I was well taken care of. I felt so safe there too. I was with three other women and all three of us felt very safe. The food was also so good! It was just what I needed for a great value!

I’m from Houston and just stumbled on this place today. Had a great conversation with a couple patrons and the owner. Very good afternoon. One of the best cheeseburgers I’ve ever eaten. On top of that the feta cheese fries were great. Oh yes and the beer was good and cold.

This is a good, simplistic, straightforward, no-nonsense place. Once the food is ready, you just pick it up at the counter. Large portions and good taste. Great prices--we spent about 16 dollars and had nowhere to fit the food. Very friendly. We saw a local children theater perform on a Saturday. Highly recommend it to people who don 't go 'eew ' at everything that doesn 't have 'expensive, French ' written all over it and just want to eat good food don 't mind carrying their own plate from the counter a few feet to their table. You can even invite friends and show them your hospitality by bringing plates for them.

I have been going to the old neighborhood grill since they opened. The food is amazing and very well priced. The room is extremely pleasant to eat. And probably the best part are the people who work! They are amazingly nice, and like to interact with the costumiers. If you haven't been to the hood yet, you haven't experienced one of Evanston's best and most pleasant restaurants!

Great place to hang out and have a beer and the Greek chicken wings are out-of-this-world their burgers are also awesome very tasty overall a great atmosphere to hang out the ownership and the staff are super friendly great place will definitely visit again
