Bidrage med feedbackHuge room with everything a weary traveler may need! King size bed was Goldilocks perfect! Large bathroom with a very tall shower, great water pressure and HOT water washed the many miles traveled away! Room was complete with Keurig coffee maker, fridge and microwave. AC worked quietly and kept us very comfortable. TV had pairing capability with my cell phone so I was able to enjoy more shows than we would with regular TV option. Cookies in the lobby on arrival and free breakfast included eggs, omelettes, cereal, warm cinnamon rolls, pancakes..... BISCUITS AND GRAVY!
The hotel staff are friendly and try to be accomidating, however, this place isn't worth $50 a night let alone e $90! They don't clean the rooms well. My first day here I cleaned the microwave in the room myself! I travel for my company alot and though American Express travel but they refuse to give me a bigger room even though I've been here over a month. One of the beds reaked of urine after my nephew spilt water on the mattress. When the maid came she just made the bed over it!! I finally lost in when I looked in front of the toilet and there was literal pee stains there. I even took a picture. The dryers in the laundry room do not work and the breakfast is the exact same every day. Stale biscuits and gravy, eggs, cereal, oatmeal and sausage or bacon dry enough to use as a napkin! Oh, and the automatic pancake machine only works 25% of the time and they are regularly out of juice. The maid service did not vacuum, the didnt clean the restroom or restock the free coffee pods or makeup remover wipes. I even bought my own Këurig because the one in my room tastes like bitter chemicals. If this wasn't the literally own place here even semi decent I would have asked my company to move me. This is embarrassingly bad! And yes the #1 on the floor by the toilet was dribble from a 7 year old but does that negate the obligation of the hotel to clean my room when I ask? Don't stay here unless you have no other choice! I brought my Dad up to spend a few days with me for his birthday but now he sleeps on a bed that has the overwhelming stench of urine. It's just been horrible, I have lived here for a month for work and still have 2 weeks to go but I can't get a bigger room no matter how hard my company or myself try to make it happen. Fingers crossed for tomorrow. American Express Travel will be told about this situation and the pictures. You would think they would want to make a multi million dollar company a priority.
We had a great stay here and will stay here again if in the area. We paid about 110.00 a night PROS: Clean rooms Great showers Bath and body works shampoos and lotions. Which was nice to not have the standard hotel stuff. Nice touch! Clean pool/hot tub with towel service Public restroom right off the pool area Friendly front desk Guest office area with computer/printer access Guest breakfast had a little of everything and more (eggs, toast, pancake machine, sausage, bacon, cinnamon rolls, juice, coffee, cereal, and yogurt to name a few things). Guest breakfast area was kept clean and stocked Elevators worked and not slow Staff was friendly and accommodating if you needed fresh towels or information. Parking was free and plenty of it. Close to Wyoming downs, and within driving distance of some Great Lakes and hiking. CONS: not really a con for this establishment but the fast food restaurants were pretty much closed or closing at 9:00-9:30pm. Not really the hotels problem.
Slightly rough around the edges for a HIE, but maintains a high standard. Room was very clean and the beds and bedding were superb. Bathroom was nothing fancy, with just a touch of grout/caulking raggedness. The pool and hottub area was immaculate and on the small side. Hottub nice and hot! Service was excellent; very friendly and personable. We received a nice crib for the room and were even able to borrow a high chair from the dining area for the evening. One issue was the strong smell of cleaners in the hallway. I've noticed this at more than a few hotels and it's something of a Pet Peeve. To me, the strong smell of cleaner doesn't suggest cleanliness, but the attempt to cover up odor. More, it's tough on the old nasal passages and can even kick off a headache in high doses. Not sure what the deal was on my particular visit but figured it was worth a mention. ... strong cleaner smell in hallways... great beds and linens... great pool and HOT tub... friendly
This place is spot on for friendliness, cleanliness and valuing their customers. This place is exceptionally clean and the reason why, the manager must know how to run a tight ship. We have stayed in 100's of hotels and this was the first time I ever saw this. I recommend staying here.
