Bidrage med feedbackI am sad to be far away now! Al's is a staple in Northwestern/Evanston. You won't find a baguette of this quality anywhere else. Every time I visit Evanston, I make sure to get a blue cheese roast beef on a baguette.
Unfortunately, Bob has recently passed away. Just wanted to give a heads up to anyone planning to visit the restaurant.
I love this place in Evanston! The roast beef croissant sandwich was amazing.
Best deli in town! Generous servings, delicious smoked salmon and Brie. Friendly and swift service. French ambiance.
This place is the best sandwich shop in Evanston. Every time I visit Chicago, I try to make it to this place as it brings so many good memories, and the food has been consistently good for the past 16-17 years
