Yates Pizza Takeaway - EVANS HEAD

The pizza here is great, but there's not much else in Evans Head for takeout options, unless you're in the mood for fish and chips.

On Wednesday, I ordered a large Hawaiian pizza for my grandchildren, and it was fantastic! It was loaded with pineapple, ham, and cheese. I couldn't find a single thing to complain about—from the ordering process to the pickup. The kids even asked if we could have pizza again for their dad's birthday, and of course, I said yes! The food and service are always great. Sometimes I wonder if people just complain for the sake of it, because we've enjoyed many meals from there and they've always been excellent.

This is the best fish and chips you'll ever find! Grab some and head down to the waterfront to enjoy your meal!

The chips were undercooked, and the calamari was burnt. I spent around $25 on food that was inedible. This place used to be great! I called to complain, but I was met with a dismissive attitude—essentially, they said it was not their problem. I wanted a refund, but they were neither helpful nor nice at all.
