Amazing! What a little gem on Willamette in Eugene. A cozy French Bistro with indoor and outdoor seating. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Wonderful food, cocktails and wine. We had it all and loved every bit. Highly recommend it!

We stopped in Eugene overnight for our road trip and found Bar Purlieu on the top rated list on google map. As previous reviewers mentioned, the food, ambience, and cocktails were excellent, will definitely visit again if we ever come back to thearea.

I visited this charming restaurant for the first time, and it did not disappoint! The atmosphere was warm and inviting. Our server, Madeline, was exceptional—friendly and very attentive. The cocktails were skillfully made and absolutely delicious. My mom and I decided to try a variety of dishes, including pork belly skewers, escargot, beet salad, oysters, a mushroom tart, scallops, and we finished off with an olive oil cake. Each dish was beautifully presented and rich in flavor. We really enjoyed the shareable experience and will definitely return, bringing more friends along next time!

The food was incredible! I highly recommend the chef's tasting menu. We also chose to include the wine pairings, and it was definitely worth it. The five-course meal came with generous portions. After a long day of driving, my husband and I were starving by the time we arrived, and by the end of the tasting menu—plus an extra dessert—we were completely full. I should also mention that their French 75 was likely the best I've ever had! I would return in a heartbeat if I'm ever in Eugene again!

Everything about this restaurant is fantastic. The atmosphere is vibrant and full of energy. There are so many wonderful elements to enjoy. The food is delicious with generous portions, the drinks are expertly crafted, and the desserts are absolutely amazing. I absolutely love this place and couldn't be happier with my experience.
