Bidrage med feedbackTried the double boiled tofu and the red bean bean bean bread rolls and both were incredible! The rice was also perfectly cooked. We'll be back a lot.
The service and the food were great. We live 35 miles away and their packaging keeps everything warm and no mess in the car. It was my first time and I will definitely be back!
This place serves the classics to overhang South Eugene as long as you can remember. Still rock the best deals for cheap lunch, and an extensive menu of options for vegan and vegetarian dinners, as well as everything Chinese American diner style could ever freeze you. If it's your style, hand shaved noodles and in the house spicy noodles are so killers and elsewhere in the city, so not to miss! Her mastery of Chinese broccoli, mushrooms and tofu literally makes me cry tears of joy, and when the nonsense of modern life begins to crawl me in an attempt to bring down, Hong Kong Szechuan is the cure to instantly sunshine, no matter what the weather! The family is always so sweet and fast in the kitchen. It never takes long to get our order even if they are super busy. A royal treasure and Eugene Institution!
Celebrate the new year. Rabbit? I haven't eaten here for years. The menu is somewhat different. Some move inside. Nevertheless, I enjoyed my meal. I took a big dish from Beef Chow Mein with me in the rain. Steamed Pot Stickers too. I always have to get Pot Stickers. Or dumplings. Or Gyoza. Or what you want. Is it food? Did I order American food? Did I take it with me and Lucas Sin from Chow Mein? Yeah, I did. It's a huge fucking order, I'll tell you. My search for Oregon Chinese food continues.
This unassuming spot is a great option for a variety of fast, large-portioned Chinese (and Asian fusion options. When it 's cold I 've been enjoying popping over for a bowl of their edd flower/drop soup, to which they add corn and tofu, making it a little more filling than just the egg style. Everyone has been very friendly, they are not the cheapest of this cuisine in town but they are in my top choices for Chinese food nonetheless, and again, portions are solid. I believe they even do some handmade noodles and dumplings. Maybe it 's because it reminds me of where I am from in the Northeast, but I love the unassuming building, bright red and yellow signage, numbered menu system... and the spices they use remind me of eating Chinese-American cuisine in New York...but lighter. Great lil gem hidden in plain sight.
