Bidrage med feedbackSome really stick on comments about some really delicious NY style pizza. The cosmos says it tastes like at home, like the Jersey Boardwalk. I also tried the veggie and it was delicious. The staff was great and I love the atmosphere. Do not leave any Picky/Stuck-up reviews to push you away. This place is great.
I have a piece of pizza and a beer for $9. Altogether pretty good, but not writing home.
I'm a Falling Sky fan. A local brewery with an oft rotating taplist, what's not to like? Turns out there are a few things. Virtually everything is overpriced here. Aside from that, all of the employees seem to hate their life. Service isn't great and an employee hasn't smiled here since opening day.
I ordered a pizza for delivery. It was almost 30 bucks, so we assumed we were in for some premium pizza. Not hard to imagine since you can get that in Eugene and don't necessarily have to drop that heavy of a coin. Our pizza arrived luke warm and residing mostly on one side of the box. This would be easily overlooked if it tasted good, but it was not overlooked because it did not taste good. Like I said, lots of places to get good pizza in Eugene, but this is not one of them. I shouldn't be surprised, Falling Sky is yet to impress me with anything.
Too many pickled things. Who puts carrots and broccoli in pizza/Stromboli? I don't get that. That's not how Italians imagined it. Kale salad was boring. The croutons are really unappetizing. Maybe smaller pieces so I don't cut my gums again? The olives are super sour and salty and canned tasting and it ruins the slice. I don't know how they justify charging so much for a slice. I guess the students look like fat pigs with money or something. I do prefer this location compared to the one on Oak Alley. Because looking at bandaids while eating is super gross. Why would anyone think that's okay to have on display? Yuck. If a single band aid in a pool grosses you out then a wall full of hundreds of band aids is gunna gross you out even more. I like the floaty clouds. Those are nice.
