Cold Stone Creamery - Eugene

We decided to grab a couple of ice creams, but ended up waiting a long time. There was only one person working, and they were overwhelmed by a sudden rush of customers. I felt really sorry for them. Cold Stone definitely needs to have at least two employees at this busy location. The ice cream is delicious, but the long wait was disappointing.

I completely agree with the other review—this place is certainly not inexpensive. However, the ice cream is of premium quality! We usually visit for special occasions or when we take a break from painting pottery next door. The ice cream has a notably high-fat content (you can find this information on the website), so if you're watching your weight, the smoothies are a fantastic alternative. The young staff members here have wonderful attitudes and sing when you tip them!

I believe the ice cream at Cold Stone isn't worth the price you pay. It can quickly become quite expensive, nearly as much as a full meal for three people. Personally, I find it easier to just head to downtown Eugene and visit Prince Puckler's instead. Their prices are lower, they offer a wider variety of flavors beyond the basics, and the taste is much better. I can't recommend Cold Stone to anyone.

I had never been to Cold Stone before, but my husband wanted to stop there one afternoon. I was amazed at how helpful the staff was, so kind and willing to help. They gave us samples and answered all questions. It was a wonderful trip, and I plan on going back. Plus, when you give them a tip, they all sing! I have never seen that before, and it made the experience that much more fun. It is a good place for people who are picky eaters, there are lots of choices and so many combinations that anyone should be able to find what they are looking for.

This is the place to go when you want to truly indulge. I have not tried anything that I didn't like. Their signature creations are the way to go for the price. Non fat options are available.
