Cheba Hut Toasted Subs - Eugene

This restaurant has a trendy atmosphere and is a convenient place to eat, especially if you like to have a drink before your meal. However, I'm not sure if it would be as enjoyable if you're simply hungry. I was recommended this place once and had a great experience. Although I highly recommend trying the rice crispy treats, mine was past its expiration date and tasted off. The birds seemed to enjoy it the most when it was fresh. I plan to visit again in the future and am looking forward to trying different sandwiches. And yes, they even have kool aid on the menu! Hahahaha!

I had not been to this restaurant since I lived in Eugene years ago, and it did not disappoint! The food was delicious. The woman at the front desk was kind, and there was a young, curly-haired male server who was very handsome. He even offered my pregnant friend a free drink while we waited, which was a nice gesture. He also held my sandwich for me when I had to use the restroom. Overall, he made my dining experience much more enjoyable. I am very happy I decided to visit while in town.

The ambiance was lacking. I ordered the nachos and the "gay" sandwich, and they were delicious. I wish there was a restaurant like this in Washington, because I would definitely be a regular customer.

They cleaned up the menu. I had a meatball sandwich and was very happy. Spouse had a turkey sandwich...both were served hot!

BETTER than expected! Quality cannot be beat, lots of options and feels healthier than other traditional sub shops If you're a veggie person I recommend the 12 inch Power Plant with both hummus AND guacamole!
