Angkor Cambodian Thai Cuisine - Eugene

A wonderful restaurant. Beautifully decorated inside, very classy. Several altars are inside plus giant wood carvings that are stunning. My friend Anne brought me here for lunch. She's gluten-free, so we each got something with no wheat noodles. I got chicken and rice with pineapple sauce and vegetables, which I believe was like the Vietnamese Bun dishes. My friend ordered a dish with lots of vegetables with rice in a lemon grass and coconut milk dressing. I got the jasmine iced tea, which was lovely. And we were each provided with a cup of soup, which was also coconut and lemon grass with mushrooms. Our server was very nice and quiet. We had so much fun having lunch together. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Once I got home, everything looked normal except that my curry container had extra chicken in it, but there wasn’t a second container with additional chicken. This meant that the vegetables and other ingredients typically included in the curry were missing to make room for the extra chicken. For perspective, I have years of experience working in restaurants and catering, and I often order double protein for takeout. A standard portion of protein is about 5 oz. and typically costs between $3 and $5, unless it’s a premium option like lobster (for example, a fully cooked organic rotisserie chicken from Whole Foods costs around $13). Enjoy your $14; you won't be seeing another dime from me.

I highly recommend this restaurant! The food is incredible, and the service is excellent. The ambiance is lovely as well. My only wish is that there were a wider selection of desserts available during the winter months.

I've seen a lot of glowing reviews about this place and was really looking forward to my first time experience with Cantonese cuisine, but my take out order was just ok. The flavor was there, but consistency was lacking as the noodles were gummy and clumpy.

I had Cambodian food for my appetizer and enjoyed a well-prepared Larb Gai (Thai chopped meat salad). The service was excellent, and I felt respected throughout my visit.
