Bidrage med feedbackI strongly advise against visiting this restaurant! I entered with the intention of ordering a fresh maki roll, but the cashier wouldn't let me and insisted that I pick a pre-packaged roll from the fridge. Reluctantly, I went along with it, but the roll was falling apart and tasted far from fresh. Frustrated, I returned to the counter to request a fresh maki roll once more. Instead of assisting me, the cashier threw my order in the trash, handed me a refund without me asking, and yelled, "Don't come back here!" I had been nothing but polite, so it was absolutely absurd to be treated this way in a place of business. If they don't want to serve customers, they should just say so. Honestly, the quality of the sushi rolls is subpar, and even though this is the only sushi spot in Woodbine Mall, I suggest ordering from anywhere else. I can only hope that this place closes down soon—it would be a benefit to everyone.
This restaurant is a real find! It offers the best sushi in Etobicoke, and I visit here regularly.
The sushi at this mall restaurant is quite decent. For $30, it provided enough food for two adults and a toddler. However, the rolls contained a bit too much rice. The tempura batter was a bit heavy, so we ended up removing some of it. On a positive note, the service was excellent, and we really enjoyed the flavors of the complimentary salad and spicy salmon roll.
The sushi at this restaurant is quite impressive, especially with its large portions. While the prices are slightly higher than other takeout options, the generous servings make it a worthwhile choice. I particularly enjoyed the spicy crispy tuna and spicy crispy salmon sushi. It was my first time trying the spicy crispy tuna, and it was so delicious that I will certainly be ordering it again! The miso soup was also enjoyable and came in a large serving. Unfortunately, the shrimp tempura was a letdown; it was chewy and the pieces were small, so I wouldn't recommend it. I hoped they would accommodate my request for an extra order of rice, but that’s alright—there wasn't a separate option on the menu, and the portions were adequate. They did provide plenty of soy sauce, as well as extra chopsticks and napkins, which I appreciated! Overall, it's definitely worth a visit, although I do have other favorite sushi spots that I tend to prefer.
I spent $20 on two boxes of ginger, but what I received was old and stale. Proceed with caution when dealing with these people.
