This place is so cozy! The people working there are very nice and the menu is very easy to read! Just be sure to bring debit or cash since they don?t accept credit. Overall, best cafe I?ve been to by now!!

Great value for money. i ordered the breakfast waffle with eggs Benedict and it was brilliant and great quantity. Foamiest cappuccino.

I can only recommend this place if you're nearby and looking for a spot for brunch. The wait was significantly longer than anticipated for average veggie waffle sandwiches, making it an overall disappointing experience.

This place is fantastic with amazing food! I ordered an omelette and requested to substitute the bacon for tomatoes, and it was delightful. I also had a chai latte, which tasted wonderful—not too spicy and perfectly sweetened. You usually expect this level of quality in downtown Toronto, so I’m thrilled to find it here as well! I’m giving it 5 stars, and I hope you enjoy it just as much. The staff is super friendly, by the way!

Overall, the food was acceptable, except for the club omelet, which was burnt. The burnt side was folded in, making it inedible, so I had to discard it. This dish should never have left the kitchen, and the cooks need to put more effort into the quality of their food. I called the Starving Artist location, and the woman who answered was very pleasant. However, I overheard the kitchen staff saying they didn’t overcook the omelet, along with some comments about difficult customers from another staff member in the background. I felt completely frustrated by the kitchen's dishonesty regarding the omelet. It's infuriating to think that the money I spent is going to waste, and the staff seemed to imply that I was being difficult, picky, and untruthful about my meal. The lady on the phone did offer to remake it for me to pick up, but it’s clear why I usually opt for UberEATS in the first place. I reached out to UberEATS hoping they can assist me. Initially, the burnt omelet didn’t bother me too much, but hearing the staff lie about it really upset me. I emailed Starving Artist over five days ago and have yet to receive a response. I will not be ordering from this location again, and I recommend that others avoid it as well, since it’s clear that the kitchen staff lacks commitment to their work.
