Bidrage med feedbackWe are regular customers at Mascot and enjoy supporting a local business. We decided to come for brunch and had made a reservation earlier in the week in order to watch the Women's World Cup. However, when we arrived at 11am we were informed that the chef had not arrived yet and brunch would have to wait. Despite our server's efforts to keep us updated, it wasn't until 12pm that the chef finally showed up, but he initially said that brunch wouldn't be available. After explaining our reservation and the fact that they open specifically for brunch on weekends, the server was able to convince the chef to open the brunch menu. Unfortunately, we didn't receive our food until 1pm, after waiting for 2 hours. This was a letdown, especially since we are loyal customers of Mascot.
Sliders, Mac and cheese and fries were a great meal to share. Wide selection of beverages and liked that there were options other than beer. Tried Kensington spritzer that was refreshing.
Great space. Staff was amazing. Beer was ok, flat and very old. Draft lines needed cleaning and the CO was off. Food was very good but too expensive for the portion size. Great space for family and dog friendly!!!
The server was excellent, the food was delicious, the beer was fantastic, and the outdoor table was lovely.
We are from Scarborough and usually visit restaurants to the north of us, such as Markham, Richmond Hill, Stouffville, Aurora, Newmarket, Ajax, and Whitby. We thought we were familiar with all the dining options in more remote areas. However, we decided to have a late dinner at Mascot Brewery in Etobicoke before attending a deejay event at 10pm. The food was delicious! The menu featured a mix of cultural favorites and classic bar food. We tried the bodega sliders (adobo brioche sliders), chicken katsu burger, smash burger, bang bang cauliflower, buffalo wings, el pastor tacos, and hand-cut fries. The fries were perfectly crispy and golden. The beer selection was great, with Italian, dark, and light beers on tap. Our server, a friendly guy with an Irish accent, was accommodating to our requests. We sat on the bright and inviting patio, just like in the website pictures. Overall, Mascot Brewery Etobicoke is a hidden gem worth visiting.
