Jack Astor's Bar & Grill - Etobicoke

While friendly, the service was not only poor, but insulting. Our server started well enough and the place was busy so we knew what to expect, something. No offer of water or beverage refills, ok fair enough. I finally had it after waiting for 20 minutes. the server would constantly walk past us to take part in other tables, but as I saw they seemed to chat and flirt for large amounts of time. All right, but give us 1 minute to get THEN back into their social life. Guess our time is less valuable? Wouldn't it just make sense to pay us off to open our table? I finally put my foot down and asked another server (child, but firm) I want my bill right away. We have the bill soon after, but why are you doing me? Food was good, but quite expensive. Server needs some training.

This is a good place to catch a sporting event on the screen while enjoying a wide selection of menu items. We sat at the bar and our companion (blond hair guy) was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Just like that, he visited our hometown in the past and we had fun talking about common places. The chicken wings were very tasteful and juicy and for some reason, tasted better than those in the USA (possible feed...don't know). Keep the good work!!!

Great food, reasonable prices, good portions, simple parking, friendly staff, worth a detour. Versatile menus, gluten-free and vegan options for those with food allergies. Will come back
