Hoya Sushi - Etobicoke

This is the only place I get sushi no matter how far I am. Taste never changes and is always fresh. Great service and always supportive in choosing menus. It’s sad to see how people underrate this place and write what’s not true. Kudos to Hoya

After reading some reviews I was second guessing trying this place out. But it is the closest Sushi Restaurant to my workplace. I called and they ignored my call twice and messaged me back saying call back later they are busy with customers . I called back and while placing my order the lady on the phone was rude and made it seem like it was a problem that I was placing an order (super confusing moment.. like...sorry for supporting your company lol) Anyways, I arrive to pick up my order and I 've never felt so unwelcomed in a restaurant before. The place was not clean at all, and the lady at the counter was giving me so much attitude. I didn 't end up buying my food I just left. Everything about this place turned me off. I wouldn 't waste my time going here, ill drive the extra kms for some Kibo Sushi. :D

Great sushi. Poor attitude from staff. Had no courtesy or manners. Almost felt like I was bothering them when I was ordering my food. Too bad the really nice server doesn't work there anymore.

This is one of the best places for takeout sushi that I've ever experienced. However, I wouldn't suggest eating in. The portion sizes for the Maki special rolls are quite satisfying. While there are vegetarian options available, they may not be suitable for everyone. The restaurant is kid-friendly, offers ample parking, and is also wheelchair accessible.

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant; the sushi was not only delicious but also extremely fresh. Even though I just ordered takeout, the customer service was friendly and inviting. Thank you so much!
