Dairy Queen (treat) - Etobicoke

I’ve gotten almost every birthday cake from Dairy Queen, and the past few years after asking I get the regular icecream cake with all vanilla icecream and the fudge cookie center as I am not the biggest fan of chocolate icecream. They have done this modification several times without an issue, but this year when I picked up my cake I found out that it was just a slab of vanilla icecream no center, when the instructions were clearly gone over more than once and clarified when placing the order. I already prepaid so I ended up just taking the cake, the woman who I picked it up from was not at fault, but she didn’t really give any solution I feel like I should have been credited back or at least been able to switch it for another cake. I will not be ordering my birthday cake here in the future as it was an upsetting situation to pay $35 for essentially just vanilla icecream.

Staff always kind and amazing patio to eat your ice cream

I didn't believe I would ever need to write a review for DQ, but this location forced me to. Hands down this is the worst DQ I've been to. They skimp on the toppings. There was next to nothing in my large Choco Brownie Extreme Blizzard. No brownie pieces, no chocolate. And I know it's not just me, there was another customer who returned to complain that their royal fudge did not have any fudge in it. I will not be visiting this location again. Disappointed.

Such a good place to visit with your kids for ice cream! The dipped cone is my favourite.
